Airshift Studio
Airshift Studio is a compact, easy-to-use radio automation software. As addition to basic functions such as the playlist player, hot keys and search browser it has also features for news/talk type of broadcasts by having a text prompter. Studio can publish podcasts and RSSi-feeds to station’s website together with nowplaying -information that contain additional metadata and artist images.
Airshift Studio has two recording options. It can either record programmes in the background or the user can prepare a voice-track as the show goes on.
The advertisements are played using a Spot Player -function that can be defined to either wait the DJ to open it or to force advertisements to override the normal programming.
The playlist can be modified until the last second. Items dragged into playlist become available as fast as they are load into memory, which usually is less than a couple of seconds.
All the play activities are recorded on asrun-log in database. From that information various reports can be generated.
When Studio is connected to Airshift Gateway, the browser function will be capable of showing the latest emails and SMSi -messages the listeners have sent.
There are several options how the Studio can be externally controlled. For every main function, shortcuts can be assigned. Optional keypads are also available to allow easy operation. Some key functions such as fader start and ads play can also be controlled using a GPIOi card.
Airshift Studio is a unique product in the market since it is cross-platform: the same functionality is available on both Mac OSX and Windows -platforms. It is unique also in its easiness and logical operation: new presenters or freelancers will require only minimal training before they can go live with their own show.
